Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

We are looking for a talented, dynamic, digitally savvy, high performing team player to be a part of our Sales Finance team in Controls & Digitalization Service Business at Siemens Energy. The role is primarily that of a sales commercial having good knowledge of the sales process and some of the controlling aspects. Ability to work under pressure, effectively communicate and deliver tasks timely is essential. This is a good opportunity for anyone with a digital mindset willing to work hard, learn with an open mind to contribute to one’s own growth and the growth of the organization. The incumbent will report to the Segment Finance Head of Controls & Digitalization Service Business and is based out of Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities
Lead hardware engineering activities for power plant automation projects.
Develop and review engineering deliverables such as: 
o I/O Allocation and signal mapping.
o Cabinet General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
o Marshalling concepts and wiring diagrams.
o Loop diagrams 
Ensure compliance with power plant process requirements and automation standards.
Oversee design aspects related to: 
o Power supply systems, earthing, and redundancy concepts.
o Cable specifications, routing, and tray design.
o Selection and sizing of MCBs and other protective devices.
o Mechanical design aspects of control cabinets and panels.
Required Skills & Tools
Proficiency in hardware engineering tools: 
o COMOS, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical.
Strong understanding of power plant processes and instrumentation.
Expertise in: 
o Electrical design principles for industrial automation.
o Redundancy and reliability concepts in control systems.
o Cable sizing, tray layout, and mechanical integration.
Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE) for electrical and control systems.
Familiarity with IEC62443 (Cyber security standards)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics , Instrumentation and control Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in hardware engineering for power plants or large industrial automation projects.
Hands-on experience with DCS/PLC systems and related hardware.
