You’ll make an impact by

  • Drive financial order management and analysis: Oversee the end-to-end financial lifecycle of factory orders, ensuring accurate pricing, cost allocation, and revenue recognition. Conduct in-depth cost and profitability analyses to identify optimization opportunities and enhance factory efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance and risk management: Uphold Siemens' internal guidelines, IFRS, and local regulations for all financial transactions related to factory orders. Proactively identify, assess, and propose strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Act as a strategic Communication Partner: Serve as the key financial point of contact for factory management, production, and central finance teams, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Deliver impactful financial insights: Prepare and present clear, concise, and impactful financial reports and presentations, translating complex financial data into understandable and actionable business insights for diverse audiences.
  • Facilitate performance and decision support: Lead performance dialogues, explain key financial drivers and trends, resolve financial discrepancies, and provide strategic financial recommendations to support critical operational and business decision-making processes.

This is how you'll win us over

  • Education: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Journalism or a related field. Alternatively, you have completed a 3-year vocational training in a commercial field, including a 2-year specialized training.
  • Experience & Skills
    • You bring many years of professional experience (min. 5 years), ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • You have a solid understanding of financial controlling, cost accounting and financial analysis.
    • A proven track record in internal and external communications in a medium sized / large company is beneficial.
  • Ways of working
    • You have strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to successfully communicate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Your profile is rounded off by a high degree of flexibility, team spirit, and intercultural competencies in relation to foreign countries and cultures.
  • Languages: Fluency in written and spoken German and English is essential.
