About the Job
Comprised of the acute hospitals and senior living communities’ segments, Brightly’s Healthcare vertical is experiencing strong growth. With over 2k clients, a record-breaking sales year, a strong product roadmap – all backed by a passionate and dedicated cross-functional team – our Healthcare vertical is lined up for success for years to come.
A newly created position, the Healthcare Solution Lead is a seasoned authority with deep experience in healthcare (acute/hospital and senior living sub-verticals), gained through roles as a practitioner, consultant, or subject matter expert. A key position within Product Management’s S&I Vertical Solutions and Marketing team, this cross-functional, global role drives strategic insight, thought leadership, and market positioning to lead Brightly’s global growth and innovation within our healthcare vertical.

What you will do
  • Vertical market positioning: Own & develop positioning for the healthcare, collaborating closely with all interested parties including Product, Sales, Client Success, Services, Regions, and Siemens to align on GTM strategy.
  • Vertical market & competitive intelligence (MCI): Own/lead qualitative and quantitative analysis of healthcare industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. This includes research in partnership with product management and strategy groups to create actionable insights. Activities include identifying market gaps, disruptions, and emerging opportunities to grow and lead the vertical, identify third-party partnerships to grow market share or access new segments, and/or boost competitiveness.
  • Vertical thought leadership: Inform a vertically tailored thought leadership strategy and select materials (i.e., blogs, social, articles) focused on industry-specific topics, that align with Brightly’s horizontal content strategy. Serve as the internal and external industry authority across Brightly & Siemens SI, providing insights & strategic guidance. Present and engage on behalf of Brightly at industry conferences and customer events. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, trade organizations and industry associations.
  • Vertical-specific new product/solutions leadership: Participate in Brightly’s New Solution Introduction process by sharing market and customer insights to inform upfront stages, including discovery, business validation, and client value stages.
  • Inform healthcare solution roadmaps: Use feedback, market, and client feedback to help product management improve features and product strategy.
  • Siemens alignment, synergies: Partner with Siemens’ healthcare vertical leads to identify alignments, joint vertical leadership opportunities. Work with Siemens’ healthcare vertical teams to see opportunities that enhance our vertical position and support a ‘OneTech Company’ approach.
  • Vertical client centricity: Collect, synthesize, maintain, and share a deep understanding of healthcare-specific client/buyer roles, difficulties, and solution needs to inform solution and product roadmaps, sales strategies, solutions messaging, and GTM strategies. Identify high-value clients to support advocacy programs, advisory boards, and leadership content (i.e., case studies, webinars.) Inform targeted value propositions and strategic narratives for each vertical, segment, and audience.

What you need

Qualifications & Experience
  • 8 years minimum experience in healthcare SaaS, preferably with experience using or implementing relevant software solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Confidence in making data-driven decisions and adapting to dynamic markets.
  • You adopt hands-on work and seamlessly navigate both tactical and strategic aspects as needed.
  • Experienced in advising senior leadership on strategic issues and able to anticipate challenges and opportunities that arise from market changes and translate these into coherent strategy.
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams and collaborate at a variety of levels within the organization, as well as with external vendors.
  • Ability to apply analytical frameworks and strategic business models and tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills a requirement.
  • Able to travel at least 30% (domestic, international.)

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
