As a Principal Customer Training Engineer with specialization in design verification, you will be responsible for all aspects of training delivery and training content development for Siemens EDA’s logic design verification and emulation software tools and solutions. This role requires a strong working knowledge of design verification technology and the readiness to take on responsibilities and deliver results.
Collaborating with other experts across the company, you will plan and lead the creation of high-quality training materials for all delivery methods (live in-person and online classes, and self-paced training). The training content includes lecture materials and self-paced training videos, hands-on labs, and assessments to reinforce learning. The primary objective of this position is to develop and deliver high-quality training that deepens customer knowledge, strengthens their practical skills, and drives Siemens EDA product adoption and their optimal utilization at customer sites.

Requirements:
• BSEE or MSEE required.
• 7+ years of experience in IC design verification technology space as a verification engineer, applications engineer, customer training engineer, product engineer, or other related roles
• Experience using and a strong working knowledge of HDLs such as SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL, and advanced verification methodologies such as UVM is a requirement
• Experience using and understanding Emulation technology is a strong plus, with the requirement of becoming proficient in this technology to be able to develop training content and lead customer training classes
• Experience using scripting languages (Tcl. Python, Linux shell scripting, etc.) is a requirement
• Experience using and working knowledge of Linux, C and C++ is a requirement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Demonstrated ability to convey
• complex technical information to diverse audiences through various channels.
• Must have strong presentation and teaching skills, ideally in a technical setting.
• Must have demonstrated ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment and work
collaboratively on a team.
• Must possess time management, communication, interpersonal, verbal, listening, problem-solving, troubleshooting, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to respond to multiple conflicting priorities, manage changing priorities, and respond appropriately to unexpected changes.
• Ability to seek new growth opportunities and to learn new products and develop / deliver new training content.
• US Citizenship is required for this role.
• Position is in the USA (Fully Remote)
• Travel up to 40% per year (including international travel)
Experience that would be a plus:
• Experience using and working knowledge of formal verification methodology and tools is a plus
• Experience with Functional Safety standards and tools is a plus
• Experience developing and/or delivering technical presentations and training material is a strong plus. This includes creating labs, videos, quizzes, and exams.
• Prior experience with Siemens EDA design verification products and solutions (QuestaSim, Visualizer, Veloce Emulation, Verification IPs, Formal verification, Functional Safety) is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $146,700 - $293,400 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
