Siemens Energy India Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Technical Writer to join our service engineering gas turbine negotiation support team in Gurgaon for maintaining and enhancing the service documentation section of the Siemens Energy Gas Turbine Manual (SiGaMa). This role is critical in ensuring our service teams and customers have access to accurate, clear, and up-to-date technical information.

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:

• Maintain and update the service section of the Siemens Energy Gas Turbine Manual
• Collaborate with engineering, service, and product teams to gather and validate technical information
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal documentation standards and industry best practices
• Manage version control and documentation lifecycle processes
• Support audits and reviews of technical documentation.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field
• Experience: 3+ Years of proven experience in technical documentation, preferably in the energy or industrial machinery sector
• Familiarity with gas turbine systems and service procedures is a strong advantage

Skills:
• Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word, XML-based systems)
 Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and service procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Communication: Very good verbal, written and virtual communication skills.
• Teamwork skills: Being comfortably working in multiple time zones Central European Time (CET) with teams in Germany, and EST with teams in US.
