You‘ll make an impact by:

  • Drive sales growth for Siemens Digital Industries solutions in the Water & Wastewater sector, including automation, digitalization, software, and industrial IoT portfolios.
  • Develop and execute account strategies aligned with Siemens’ business objectives and sustainability goals.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with municipal utilities, EPCs, system integrators, consultants, and industrial water customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, application, bid management, and service teams to develop competitive technical and commercial solutions.
  • Understand customer challenges related to water treatment, wastewater treatment, desalination, distribution, and asset management, and position Siemens’ digital solutions accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations, solution demonstrations, and value propositions highlighting ROI, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the water and wastewater industry.
  • Support development of long-term partnerships and framework agreements with strategic customers.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting using CRM tools.
  • Ensure compliance with Siemens’ business ethics, risk management, and contract governance processes.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen Siemens’ market presence.
  • Contribute to regional and global sales initiatives, product launches, and go-to-market strategies.

Your success is grounded in

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
  • MBA or postgraduate degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management is an advantage
  • 5–10+ years of sales or business development experience in the Water & Wastewater industry.
  • Proven track record selling automation, digitalization, SCADA, PLC, DCS, software, or industrial solutions.
  • Experience working with municipal utilities, EPC contractors, system integrators, consultants, and industrial water customers.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex solution sales cycles and high-value contracts.
  • Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, including:
  • Water treatment plants (WTP)
  • Wastewater treatment plants (WWTP)
  • Pumping stations, desalination, distribution networks
  • Knowledge of Siemens Digital Industries portfolio (PLC, SCADA, Drives, Digital Twins, Industrial IoT, analytics) or similar competitor solutions.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and sustainability requirements affecting water utilities.
  • Strong ability to develop value-based selling strategies and articulate ROI to customers.
  • Experience in bid management, tendering, pricing, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Ability to manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM systems.
  • Strong presentation and proposal-writing skills.

·       Existing network within water authorities and major EPCs.

·       Knowledge of sustainability, energy optimization, and carbon reduction initiatives.
