We are searching for a Proposal Resource Planner to join our Electrification Automation (EA) Business Unit in Wendell, NC. This position is based in Wendell, NC with a hybrid work model available.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Providing essential administrative and process support to the proposal team, ensuring smooth workflows, accurate information flow, and timely completion of quotation activities.
  • Serving as the central coordinator of the proposal lifecycle, supporting execution from opportunity creation through quote delivery.
  • Acting as the primary process liaison between Sales,
  • Application Engineering, and Project Management to ensure clear communication and effective handoffs.
  • Assigning new opportunities to Application Engineers based on workload and established allocation rules.
  • Maintaining accurate, complete, and up-to-date data in Salesforce and other internal systems.
  • Monitoring proposal milestones to ensure compliance with defined process steps and timelines.
  • Tracking deadlines, requesting extensions when required, and escalating delays as appropriate.
  • Preparing and distributing weekly reports on bid volume, status, and team workload.
  • Identifying missing or incomplete information and coordinating follow-up with Sales or Application Engineering teams.
  • Providing administrative support including document organization, data entry, meeting coordination, and record maintenance.
  • Preparing and organizing documentation for proposal submissions and internal reviews.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to proposal workflows, data accuracy, and process efficiency.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal compliance requirements, operational guidelines, and documentation standards.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma
  • 1+ years’ experience providing essential administrative and process support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel to:
    • Sort and Filter data
    • Pivot table
    • Create basic formulas (SUM, COUNT, IF, VLOOUP, ROUNDUP)
    • Update tables and Lists.
  • Ability to used Microsoft Word and Power Point to:
    • Edit documents
    • Apply formatting
    • Insert and update tables
  • Ability to enter, update and Maintain records in a digital system (Sales Force, SAP, shared folder).
  • Ability to follow written procedures or work instructions without supervision.
  • Ability to read and input information from customer requests, emails, and documents into CRM systems.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Salesforce , SAP or similar CRM tools.
  • Experience generating basic reports and Dashboards.
  • Ability to organize files, documents and shared folders using a defined structure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.

The pay range for this position is $44,982 - $77,112 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
