In your new role, you lead an IT Business Partnership function that serves as a vital connector across the SFS ecosystem. You sit at the intersection of three critical domains: Corporate IT, SFS IT, and the SFS business units. Your team bridges these organizational boundaries, ensuring that SFS business needs and regulatory requirements are translated into effective IT demands for Corporate IT and that available Corporate IT capabilities are optimally leveraged in SFS.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Developing and coaching your team of IT Business Partners to become outstanding communicators and trusted advisors, encouraging a culture of continuous growth, customer centricity, and service excellence 
  • Serving as the critical bridge between Corporate IT and SFS IT, ensuring SFS business receives aligned, business-focused IT solutions. Your team's focus remains on business partnership and advisory excellence, not technical operation 
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key business and IT partners through communication and stakeholder management, understanding the business drivers as well as regulatory requirements of the financial services industry 
  • Representing SFS IT interests regarding Office IT and IT infrastructure in budget decision meetings, project steering committees, and escalation discussions, ensuring that SFS IT perspectives are heard and considered 
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support Corporate IT Service Owners to improve the quality of services by ensuring that they are fit for use and fit for purpose for the personas in Siemens Financial Services 
  • Bridging the gap between IT and business leadership by translating complex infrastructure information in IT projects and IT services into actionable and business-relevant insights 
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the effectiveness of service delivery, considering business feedback and industry best practices 
  • You manage the multi-million Euro budget of the Office IT and IT infrastructure portfolio of SFS and are able to explain the value contribution of the portfolio as well as confidently challenging cost drivers 

Your defining qualities

  • Education
    • Master's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, computer science, informatics, (IT) management, or a related field 
  • Experience & Skills
    • Proven leadership experience (minimum 3+ years) with a track record of developing high-performing teams in a global environment 
    • A minimum of 5+ years of IT experience with demonstrated expertise as an IT Business Partner, Service Portfolio Manager or in a comparable advisory and stakeholder management role 
    • Preferably experience in Financial Services industry and its regulatory requirements and how they apply to the portfolio you are handling 
    • Expertise in stakeholder and relationship management, with proven ability to build trust and influence with senior business and IT executives across matrix organizations 
    • Strong executive communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to senior leadership partners and conducting effective business discussions 
    • ITIL V4 certification or equivalent IT Service Management or Project Management credentials  
    • Broad technical knowledge of Office IT and IT infrastructure, specifically across the following service domains: Collaboration, Workplace, Connectivity and IT Service Management

    • Proactive and consultative in approach, comfortable serving as a trusted advisor and thought partner to IT and business leadership 
  • Languages
    • Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German and/or Portuguese is considered a plus
