We are looking for a Software QA Engineer – Associate who is passionate about software quality and eager to grow in a dynamic R&D environment. In this role, you will help ensure product quality across UI, API, and batch workflows, gain hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, and collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute test strategies and test plans aligned with requirements, risks, and acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain automated smoke and regression test suites across UI, API, and batch workflows.
• Create clear, well-structured test cases with traceability to user stories and requirements.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing for high-risk or newly developed features.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, logs, and root-cause insights.
• Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, and Product teams to continuously improve testability and release quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Software QA or Testing, with exposure to both manual and automation testing.
• Strong understanding of functional, negative, and regression testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Solid experience in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation or validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
