Security Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations at the manufacturing facility. This includes ensuring the safety of employees, protecting company assets, monitoring access control, supervising security personnel, and responding to incidents in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate security personnel to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Implement and enforce security policies to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and respond to any security breaches.
• Conduct regular security audits and patrols within the factory premises to identify potential security risks.
• Ensure proper checking of employees, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the factory.
• Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Train and guide security staff on emergency procedures, incident handling, and safety measures.
• Maintain coordination with law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and emergency response teams when required.
• Ensure compliance with factory security regulations, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) guidelines, and company policies.
• Maintain records of security activities, attendance, and shift schedules of security personnel.
• Oversee the security of valuable equipment, raw materials, and finished goods stored within the factory premises.
• Support perimeter security enhancements and implement advanced security alarm systems as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), Ex-Serviceman of the Indian Army with more than 15 years of experience.
• Prior experience in industrial security, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage security staff effectively.
• Knowledge of electronic surveillance systems, access control, and security alarm systems & firefighting techniques.
• Familiarity with EHS standards, fire safety procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to handle security incidents & fire emergencies with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in using MS Office for maintaining reports and logs.
• Physical fitness and alertness to respond quickly to security threats.
Work Schedule:
• Shift-based duty, including weekends and night shifts as required.
