Associate Software Engineering Intern
Business Operations
Join our dynamic software development team as an Associate Software Engineering Intern in a full-time capacity. Engage in agile practices to create and enhance software components for web applications across varied cloud environments. This role provides an opportunity to act as an individual contributor in a project, developing, deploying, and documenting code following CI/CD best practices, and presenting your work to the executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software components as an individual contributor within a collaborative team environment.
- Utilize agile methodologies to design, code, and deploy features for web applications.
- Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) best practices in software development.
- Create unit tests and maintain documentation to support software features.
- Deliver presentations on project progress and outcomes in review forums with the executive team.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Able to work in a hybrid environment in Charlotte, NC.
- Strong programming skills in Node.js, Python, and JavaScript are required.
- Experience with AWS and GitHub is preferred.
- Capacity to work full stack with Node.js, Python, and HTML, including preparation of unit tests and documentation.

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave and paid volunteer time off.
The hourly pay range for this position is 18-50 per hour for first time Interns or 18-50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
