We are looking for a Quality Manager for our Hingham, MA Manufacturing facility.
As a Quality Manager with one of the world’s most respected manufacturers of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, you will lead Russelectric’s Quality function to ensure successful delivery of business strategy and operational goals. You will encourage the team to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery, while facilitating continuous improvement and achieving commercial success. Your Quality expertise will help this manufacturing organization improve their ability to make the world a safer and more reliable place: think hospitals, data centers, utilities, mass transportation, and other aspects of life as we know it that need reliable power systems. You will be part of providing solutions to the world’s growing need for dependable critical infrastructure.
You’ll make a difference by:
- Own the Quality function including Supplier Quality and the Quality Control Plan (including criteria for In-Process Quality, Product Testing, and Final Inspection
- Grow the Quality team through hiring and development.
- Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Provide the department with leadership to support critical initiatives.
- Ensure customer quality issues and non-conformances are resolved quickly, taking the lead for the mitigation actions with other Russelectric teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing, and Procurement).
- Collaborate with other Russelectric business teams and external partners to implement quality improvements.
- Establish Quality Performance data and Key Performance Indicators; provide the Management team with regular updates on Quality activities.
You will win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Four years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Ability to travel 5%
- Proven leadership/team management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development (Growth Mindset approach)
- Ability to build a culture that promotes a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on achieving results
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills in English
- Hands-on approach in taking charge of issues on the factory floor and seeing them through to resolution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Power Distribution business or similar industries in energy business preferred
- Six-Sigma black belt preferred

- The pay range for this position is $130-$165k. This position will also receive a 10 % incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

The pay range for this position is $135k - $180k annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
