Within our dedicated Detection & Signaling team, we are seeking an experienced Product Line Release Manager to drive the successful execution of our product line roadmap. In this role, you will take end-to-end responsibility for coordinating all releases - from concept to launch - across the complete product line portfolio. You will lead the release management process, and ensure readiness for market introduction while meeting scope, budget, and quality targets.

As the central point of coordination, you will work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and release managers to synchronize timelines, manage dependencies, and maintain governance standards. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to orchestrate complex, multi-project environments without direct project execution responsibility.

Join our team and collaborate with us in shaping a more prosperous future. We eagerly anticipate introducing you to our dynamic and engaging environment.

Location: this role will be based in Zug/Switzerland. Please note that qualified candidates need to be legally eligible for work authorization in Switzerland.

  • End-to-End Release Management: Oversee the global product line roadmap and ensure successful execution of all releases from concept to launch by coordinating dependencies across multiple projects to ensure timely delivery within defined scope, budget, and quality targets
  • Strategic Planning: Develop strategic and annual release plans, including resource and capacity planning, while aligning priorities with key stakeholders such as the Product Line Head, Product Managers, and project teams
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators to ensure development efficiency, product quality, on-time delivery, effective risk management, and optimal budget utilization
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate the global release manager team to ensure consistent processes, synchronized timelines, and effective communication for multi-project dependencies
  • Process Ownership: Optimize and orchestrate release management processes, while maintaining comprehensive planning documentation
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to internal governance, regulatory requirements, and security standards throughout the development process
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main coordinator between product line and product development teams, tracking project progress and reporting status, dependencies, and milestones
  • Innovation & Roadmap Support: Facilitate innovation, product strategy and roadmap development, ensuring seamless collaboration with product managers and engineering teams

Your talents and experience:

  • University degree or higher education in engineering, project management, or a comparable field
  • 10+ years of project management experience, in product development or engineering projects, preferably within safety-critical or regulated environments
  • Proven track record in planning, executing, and delivering complex hardware and software programs on time and within scope, with strong emphasis on meeting regulatory compliance, and quality requirements
  • Experience within the fire safety industry or related building management systems and services is highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate a consolidated budget across multiple interdependent projects
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with proven experience in leading global teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
  • Familiarity with lean/agile development methodologies, such as SAFe, is advantageous
  • Resilience in challenging situations, a well-structured and analytical approach to work, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
