Job Title: PRO PM Manager MEA – Siemens Grid Software

As our new Zone Head of Project Management, you will be accountable for the end-to-end governance, performance, and delivery of the regional project portfolio. The role ensures safe, profitable, and high-quality project execution in line with Siemens PM@S standards, while building strong customer relationships and developing a high-performing project organization across the zone.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Portfolio Leadership:

• Acts as the regional Project Management authority, enabling achievement of performance, financial, quality, and delivery KPIs.
• Owns end-to-end governance of the regional project portfolio, ensuring disciplined execution, risk management, and effective escalation.
• Provides delivery readiness oversight during bidding and contract award to protect margin, avoid scope creep, and prevent NCCs.

Operational Excellence & Process:

• Ensures consistent application and continuous improvement of PM@S processes, aligned with Global PMO standards.
• Drives operational excellence across projects, drilling into critical projects where performance is at risk.
• Coordinates closely with operations and support functions to ensure delivery commitments are met.

Customer & Stakeholder Management:

• Serves as a senior escalation point for customers, partners, and external stakeholders.
• Strengthens customer confidence through structured engagement, governance, and predictable project outcomes.

Resource & People Leadership:

• Optimizes resource and capacity planning, ensuring experienced PMs and a competent value chain are in place.
• Leads and develops a high-performance, accountable project culture, addressing capability gaps and managing non-performance.
• Embeds a strong “will and skill” culture across the zone.

Financial & Risk Management:

• Oversees budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance of the regional portfolio.
• Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical, and EHS requirements, proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Proven senior leadership experience with P&L responsibility and large, complex project portfolios.
• Strong understanding of power utility automation, digital solutions, and EPC-based business models.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary, technical teams across regions.
• Excellent senior-level customer, stakeholder, and negotiation skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PM@S, Six Sigma / Black Belt are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English is must, while knowledge of Arabic is considered as a big asset.
