You'll make an impact by
- You support our research activities in Distributed Computing for 6G and Satellite networks by experimenting with our in-house emulation environment
- Building on this, you assist in developing and updating orchestration solutions for predefined use cases, and compare their performance
- Furthermore, you contribute to the setup and improvement of our testbed infrastructure to enable robust testing scenarios
- Throughout these tasks, you collaborate closely with the team to integrate networking and edge computing concepts into ongoing projects
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: You are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a similar field
- Experience and Skills:
- Initial experience or strong interest in distributed or edge computing
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
- Practical skills in scripting or programming
- Ways of Working: You work independently, proactively and enjoy collaborating in a research-driven team
- Languages: Very good English skills
