The Technical Account Management (TAM) organization within Siemens Digital Industries Software plays a critical role in supporting our customers’ progression through the LAER – Land, Adopt, Expand & Renew software lifecycle. We partner with our Sales Account teams to bring the full strength of Siemens’ expertise, resources, and best practices to bear, ensuring our strategic accounts achieve successful business outcomes at every stage of their journey. Through structured planning, clear processes, and actionable insights, we enable teams to operate with clarity, consistency, and measurable impact across the customer lifecycle.
As a TAM Digital Account Planning & AI Enablement Intern, you will contribute to shaping the next generation of digital planning practices. In this role, you will help design and refine account planning frameworks, explore how AI and other modern tools can streamline planning workflows, and support the team in building clear, scalable best practices. You will work cross functionally with stakeholders across account management, operations, and enablement to understand needs and translate them into simple, effective planning assets and guidance.
In this role you will proactively:
- Analyze existing planning approaches and help define a more structured digital account planning framework.
- Create or refine templates, best practice guides, and lightweight planning workflows to support consistency across teams.
- Explore and document how AI tools can assist with planning tasks such as summarization, research, insights synthesis, content standardization and workflow automation.
- Support development of guidance materials that help teams understand when, why, and how to use digital planning in their day-to-day work.
- Collaborate with cross functional partners to gather input, validate assumptions, and ensure solutions meet practical needs.
- Contribute to documentation, process clarity, and enablement materials that make planning easier, clearer, and more scalable.
Requirements:
- Studying for a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related hybrid business/technical field.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment on the west coast (US)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically, structure information, identify patterns, and develop clear recommendations.
- Curiosity and comfort experimenting with AI assisted tools (e.g., M365 Copilot, chat based AI, basic prompt design).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Detail oriented, organized, and proactive in seeking clarity and driving work to completion.
- Ability to create structured templates, workflows, or documentation that improve repeatability across teams.
- Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders and balancing feedback across different perspectives.
- Commanding grasp of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with digital collaboration tools is a plus.
The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education. The hourly pay range for this position is 18-50 per hour for first time Interns or 18-50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
