Your mission will be… 

As a Data Engineer, you will support the team in designing, developing, and operating data integration and analytics solutions. 

• Assist in the development of Azure-based data pipelines and integrations.

• Support the configuration and maintenance of integration processes, ensuring reliable data movement and transformation.

• Help build and automate CI/CD pipelines used for deploying data solutions.

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of data models, metadata, and documentation for internal knowledge sharing.

• Participate in technical discussions and brainstorming sessions with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.

• Learn how to design scalable data solutions that follow Siemens’ security and governance standards.

• Support the team in extracting and loading data from systems such as SAP, SQL, snowflake and other enterprise sources.

• Stay up‑to‑date with modern data engineering trends, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and automation approaches.

• Learn how to translate business requirements into data engineering solutions in a collaborative cross‑functional environment.

We are looking for someone with…

Ongoing or completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or Snowflake is a plus).

• Basic understanding of SQL / T‑SQL and interest in ETL concepts.

• Interest in modern data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory, Snowflake pipelines, and automation practices.

• A DevOps mindset with willingness to learn CI/CD concepts and version control.

• Basic experience or familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFE).

• Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in an intercultural environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn modern data technologies.

• Business‑fluent English (spoken and written).
