You'll make an impact by

  • You support senior AI developers in designing and developing AI-powered solutions for automated software optimization and energy-efficient engineering
  • Building on this, you assist in applying AI agents and agentic workflows to real codebases, contributing to automated refactoring and energy-efficiency improvements
  • Furthermore, you help implement and evaluate agent-based approaches for continuous code improvement, including aspects like requirements management and automated testing
  • To round out your tasks, you keep up-to-date with the latest developments in generative AI research and actively share relevant insights with the team

This is how you'll win us over

  • Education: You are currently enrolled in a Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science with an AI/ML focus, or a related field
  • Experience and Skills:
    • Strong understanding of fundamental concepts in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning
    • Proficiency in Python; experience with a C-family programming language (C++, C#, Java) is desirable
    • Experience working with large language models (e.g., GPT, Llama) and familiarity with LLM application frameworks (e.g., LangChain)
  • Ways of Working: You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Languages: Very good written and spoken English skills (C1); German skills are an advantage
