We are looking for: Senior IT Service Owner for Software

You’ll break new ground by:

• Strategic Leadership: Shape and champion Siemens’ global strategy for software license provisioning and management — driving business value and accelerating our transition toward Software as a Service (SaaS).
• End to End IT Service Ownership: Take full responsibility for our strategic software license and services, ensuring a seamless, high performance experience across the entire Siemens ecosystem.
• Holistic Software Lifecycle Management: Lead and optimize the complete software lifecycle: from demand analysis to contracting, rollout, charging, and continuous improvement.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Own global software risk mitigation and ensure enterprise wide license compliance across a sophisticated, diverse environment.
• Financial & Efficiency Leadership: Manage multi million euro software budgets, define FinOps guardrails, and drive measurable IT efficiency and cost optimization initiatives.
• Portfolio Innovation & Development: Evolve the centrally led software portfolio to enhance business impact and cost efficiency. Facilitate strategic dialogue with Siemens businesses to identify new opportunities and unlock shared value.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• Real ownership culture and passion for crafting a global IT service that powers software across all of Siemens.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, IT, computer science, or related fields.
• 8+ years of experience in IT Service Management or a comparable IT leadership role.
• Expertise in Software, Cloud Technologies, and Software Asset Management.
• Outstanding soft skills: service oriented, collaborative, quality driven, and confident in leading change.
• Curiosity and happiness in working with international teams and global stakeholders.
• A growth mindset with the ability to navigate and adapt to multifaceted business environments.
• English business proficient
