Role Overview
Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Global IT Value Stream Lead – Anaplan to lead the end-to-end delivery and scaling of the Anaplan platform across multiple global SI workstreams. This role is a key contributor to the One Tech transformation program and will work in close collaboration with the Anaplan Platform Hub, SI Sales HQ, and the global Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE).
The role oversees parallel global initiatives including Territory & Quota (T&Q) rollout, Brightly, Global Sales Workflows (GSW), Incentive Compensation Management (ICM), including Varicent migration for the U.S., and additional SI-specific use cases. Acting as the central IT and platform liaison, the Value Stream Lead ensures alignment between business strategy, technology delivery, governance, and measurable value realization.
This position is ideal for a leader with strong experience in Sales Performance Management (SPM) solutions (e.g., Anaplan, Varicent, Xactly), who can bridge business processes and technical execution at global scale.
In this role you will work remotely from a home office. You will be required to work business hours of approximately 8a-5p Eastern Time Zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and govern the global Anaplan value stream across multiple Siemens Smart Infrastructure workstreams, ensuring alignment between business, IT, and platform teams.
- Own the overall delivery plan, including scope, timelines, budget, milestones, dependencies, and governance.
- Serve as the primary IT business partner for SI regions, functions, and business units on Anaplan platform strategy and rollout.
- Facilitate business requirements gathering in close alignment with Product Owners and process leaders.
- Define and implement a Hub & Spoke Anaplan target architecture, ensuring scalability, consistency, and adherence to connected planning best practices.
- Drive global change management, communication, training, and stakeholder engagement to support adoption and value realization.
- Oversee data migration and integration from legacy platforms (e.g., Varicent), including source mapping, data quality, transformation, and loading.
- Manage phased and iterative releases using an agile delivery approach (“foundation first, build later”).
- Monitor and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests; provide transparent reporting via SteerCo updates, dashboards, and milestone reviews.
- Align with and help establish a global Anaplan CoE and governance framework, ensuring sustainability, documentation, and long-term scalability.
- Coordinate testing, UAT, go-live readiness, and post-go-live hypercare across regions.
- Ensure each workstream delivers measurable business outcomes, including faster planning cycles, increased transparency, and enhanced modeling capabilities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 5+ years of experience in IT or business process project/program management within large, global enterprise environments.
- Proven experience delivering Sales Performance Management (SPM) solutions with Anaplan.
- Advanced knowledge of sales performance, incentive compensation, territory and quota planning, combined with technical expertise in data integration, modeling, and governance.
- Hands-on experience with Anaplan.
- Proficient in professional English (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30–40% as required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
- Anaplan Model Builder certification or direct Anaplan implementation experience.
- Experience implementing or managing Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions.
- Knowledge of sales operations, revenue management, or commercial planning processes.
- Experience delivering multi-country IT rollouts with distributed teams.
- Familiarity with agile delivery and governance tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of agile or hybrid delivery methodologies, ideally with exposure to The Anaplan Way.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and dependencies in a complex global environment.
- Demonstrated success leading global system implementations across multiple regions and business functions.
- Experience with data migration, ETL, and analytics workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills in matrixed, global organizations

The pay range for this position is $102,459 - $210,773 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
