Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and Manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Position Overview

Develop, refactor, and maintain back-end services with Golang. Build and improve front-end components using Angular.

Collaborate on our custom Linux ISO: Integrate NGINX, handle Linux services (systemd, networking, proxies, NTP, firewall, etc.).

Automate system build & deploy pipelines. Manage and deploy workloads via Helm charts, K3s, and PostgreSQL.

Tackle scripting and command-line tooling for packaging, installation, and system configuration.

Support in managing project PLM/PM processes, including Patent clearing, security (SecTRA), and risk management.

Support maintenance and evolution of our GitLab CI/CD pipelines and documentation workflows.

Work closely with team leaders, QA, DevOps, and technical writers to deliver, test, and document new features and platform variants.

Responsibilities:

  • Golang (Golang) back-end and CLI application development.

Angular or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.

Linux: comfortable with shell scripting, command-line tools, systems, networking, and server configuration.

Containerization and orchestration (K3s/Kubernetes, Helm, Docker).

PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab pipelines) and source control (Git).

Good to have:

Custom Linux image build experience Nginx, Certificates and proxy service configuration. Contributions to PLM/PM processes (risk management, GDPR, OSS/SBOM, technical debt tracking, etc.).

Familiarity with Python, shell scripting, or Ansible !

Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Knowledge of modern software engineering and architectural standard methodologies (such as proven principles, design patterns, code reviews, and scalable microservice architectures).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar stream, as well as 5 - 7 + Years of experience and the following abilities:Technical skills:5 or more years of professional software development experience; ideally in system-level or cloud-native environments.

Strong communication and documentation skills; able to contribute to audits and compliance deliverables.

Willingness to upskill in compliance, DevOps, or new frameworks.

Collaborative, positive mindset - eager to work across disciplines and learn from others.

Pragmatic problem - solver who values code quality and reliability.
