How you’ll make an impact
- You are responsible for developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases, as well as leading testing resources, infrastructure, and methodologies.
- You serve as the overall technical authority for end-to-end testing and quality control of IoT based solutions spanning from switchgear to cloud, following IoT system blueprints released by Product Management.
- You validate end-to-end IoT architectures by defining and performing comprehensive functional and non-functional test and quality control strategies, including test plans and test cases.
- You collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to design and implement test infrastructure and execution concepts that leverage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) for new releases and release candidates of internal and third party hardware, firmware, software, and cloud applications included in the IoT system blueprints.
- You supervise and report testing and quality control progress, including test results, defects, and risk mitigation activities
- You define IoT system release criteria and system level quality targets in alignment with Product Managers and Engineers, and you continuously improve E2E quality assurance by identifying, evaluating, and implementing standard methodologies, tools, and technologies aligned with industry standards.
Your defining qualities
- You have many years of experience in switchgear or distribution substation environments.
- You have a strong understanding of medium voltage switchgear, power systems automation architectures, and communication protocols.
- You have a proven track record to lead cross-domain E2E test cycles, and you have a validated knowledge of system validation, verification, and quality control methods.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent.
