Part-Time Working Student (Industrial Automation & Service Analytics)
We are looking for a Part-time Working Student (Industrial Automation & Service Analytics) to join our Industry Field Services Group. The position will be based in Kartal and requires flexibility to travel to various locations across Turkey when needed.
The successful candidate will support the analysis and interpretation of field service data related to Industrial Automation and CNC systems and contribute to data-driven performance improvement initiatives within service operations. The role combines technical field exposure with analytical and process-oriented responsibilities aimed at improving operational efficiency, service quality, and performance visibility.
What are my responsibilities?
• Support commissioning, fault intervention, and preventive maintenance activities for Industrial Automation and CNC systems.
• Collect, structure, and analyze field service data.
• Support the development of performance reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
• Contribute to data-driven process optimization initiatives within service operations.
• Assist in root cause analysis activities using structured problem-solving and analytical methods.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends and performance gaps.
• Collaborate with field engineers and technical teams to ensure accurate data collection and interpretation.
• Support reporting, documentation, and operational planning activities.
• Assist in identifying service improvement and sales support opportunities based on data analysis.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• 3rd year undergraduate student or master’s student in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work minimum 3 days per week during academic semesters.
• Strong interest in Industrial Automation technologies and motivation to develop skills in data analytics, programming, and performance analysis.
• Analytical thinking skills and structured working approach.
• Basic knowledge of Excel; familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Python, SQL) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
