We are looking for a Field Service Engineer, EV Charging. This position will be based in Atlanta GA.

You’ll make a difference with the following duties:

Field Service, Commissioning & Customer Enablement

  • Maintaining our product line in the form of repairs, modifications and maintenance
  • Providing onsite commissioning activities inclusive of Site Acceptance Testing
  • Programming, performing input/output tests and measurements, on-line and on-site
  • Providing preventive and corrective maintenance as needed
  • Providing onsite training to customers

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Providing first line of company-support in case of technical product issues
  • Supporting the 24x7 Helpdesk on regular basis
  • Assisting as a technician of the 3rd line support in solving malfunctions
  • Diagnosis of failures in case of abnormal product performance

Quality Assurance, Partner and Contractor Oversight & Compliance

  • Quality control for third party technical service partners
  • Supervising 3rd party contractors onsite
  • Preparing necessary tools, materials, documentation, permits, travel arrangements and briefings as needed

Documentation, Reporting, Records & Continuous Improvement

  • Preparing test and service reports
  • Updating and enhancing service documentation
  • Maintaining record of all service activities according company procedures
  • Developing suggestions for improvements to our products and services
  • Supporting development with deployment, testing, and feedback of new products

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and/or Mechatronics or 3 additional years of experience with the following requirements.
  • 1+ year of experience with the following:
    • Current commissioning and/or service work
    • Electrical installations
    • Troubleshooting inverters, electronics, wiring, and cooling systems
    • Serial communication and diagnostic tools, including CAN, EtherCAT, RS485, and RS-232
    • Safety regulations such as NFPA 70E and OSHA
    • Customer service principles and practices
    • Using computers for technical and service-related tasks
    • Reading and interpreting circuit schematics
    • Fluent in English language
  • Ability to travel (both local and national) up to 90%
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of current commissioning and/or service work
Please note, this is a salaried position with the ability to earn overtime and bonus.

The pay range for this position is 61.547 - 105,509 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
