HF Electromagnetic Product Manager (Time-Domain)
We are Siemens
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our software.
Our high-frequency electromagnetics simulation team is hiring a Technical Product Manger. We are a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing high‑frequency electromagnetic simulation technology. Our work spans antenna design, propagation analysis, scattering problems, and complex EM system modelling, where accuracy, performance, and usability matter deeply to our users.
The team brings together expertise from engineering, UI, program management, and subject‑matter specialists in computational electromagnetics to continuously evolve our simulation capabilities. We value clear thinking, technical curiosity, and practical problem‑solving, and we collaborate closely to deliver high‑quality features that support real‑world EM workflows.
You'll make a difference by:
- Helping define product features by analyzing workflows and clarifying technical requirements.
- Providing domain‑specific input during implementation to support engineering and UI decisions.
- Analyzing defects to uncover root causes and translating complex problems into clear, prioritized guidance.
- Assessing proposed designs and workflow changes and offering focused, EM‑informed feedback.
- Contributing technical insights to planning discussions within the Program Management organization.
- Monitoring development progress and offering clarifications to keep features aligned with intended behavior and within time constraints.
- Documenting feature requirements, expected behaviors, and workflow considerations in a clear and structured way.
Your success is grounded in:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (completed coursework in electromagnetics and high‑frequency techniques, or knowledge gained through experience)
- Proven industry experience in computational electromagnetics.
- Solid understanding of time‑domain methods and high‑frequency EM behavior.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for automation or workflow improvement.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices, including version control, code review processes and agile development methodologies, together with practical experience writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
- The ability to communicate effectively across technical disciplines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify friction points in workflows and translate insights into actionable improvements for usability and overall user experience.
