Position Overview

The Regional Marketing Specialist for DACH supports the execution of localized marketing activities and campaigns to drive awareness and engagement for Siemens Grid Software in German-speaking markets. This role focuses on implementing global and regional marketing initiatives, ensuring messaging is locally relevant, and providing hands-on support to the sales and marketing teams. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone early in their marketing career looking to gain experience in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Campaign Support

  • Adapt and localize global marketing content for DACH audiences, ensuring cultural and language accuracy.
  • Execute omni-channel marketing activities, including email, digital, and social campaigns.
  • Coordinate campaign assets, translations, and approvals.

Event Execution

  • Support the planning and coordination of regional events such as tradeshows, customer workshops, and webinars.
  • Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, and follow-up activities (e.g., lead processing, reporting).

Collaboration & Alignment

  • Work closely with the regional sales team to support their marketing needs (materials, event support, localized content).
  • Collaborate with global marketing, product marketing, and communications teams to ensure brand and message consistency.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track key metrics for regional campaigns and events.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to help optimize future activities and improve ROI.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Experience in B2B marketing, preferably within technology, software, or energy sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Hands-on mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., marketing automation, CRM) is a plus.
  • Creativity and willingness to try new approaches.
  • Fluency in German and English; strong writing and communication skills.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing roles such as field marketing, campaign coordination, or event support.

  • High-quality, timely delivery of localized marketing activities.
  • Strong execution of regional events and campaigns.
  • Positive feedback from regional sales teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Accurate and consistent reporting of marketing performance.
