Logistics Project Coordinator

Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably.

At Siemens Healthineers, we are shaping the future of healthcare through innovation, digitalisation and human‑centred design. Our Magnet Technology business supports the development of world‑class MRI systems, and we are committed to creating a welcoming, supportive and empowering environment where people can thrive.

As we prepare to launch a new manufacturing facility, we are looking for a Logistics Project Coordinator who enjoys learning, problem solving and collaborating with others to create effective, reliable processes.

About the Role

You will play an important part in shaping logistics processes for our new factory, helping to ensure materials, data and workflows are set up in a clear, efficient and organised way. This role blends practical, hands‑on tasks with structured coordination, making it ideal for someone who is motivated, curious and comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Working closely with colleagues across Logistics, Process Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing, you will help build sustainable, well‑designed processes that enable smooth production supply. You’ll contribute ideas, support planning activities and help implement solutions that make a positive, measurable impact on day‑to‑day operations.

We welcome candidates with early‑career experience as well as those with an established career in logistics, supply chain or production who are looking to grow their skills further.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the setup of logistics processes for the new manufacturing facility, including the organisation, labelling and preparation of workstations and storage areas.
  • Contribute to material master data creation and updates within SAP.
  • Assist with the introduction of SAP EWM and related materials‑management workflows.
  • Help design clear, efficient and traceable material flows between warehouse and production.
  • Participate in practical tasks such as organising stock locations and preparing workstations for operational readiness.
  • Identify challenges, analyse root causes and suggest thoughtful, realistic improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure materials are in the right place at the right time.
  • Support continuous improvement activities that enhance quality, safety and efficiency.
  • Promote an inclusive, respectful and safety‑conscious environment.

What You’ll Bring

You don’t need to meet every requirement to apply — if you’re excited about the role and believe you can contribute, we’d love to hear from you.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, production, materials management or a similar operational area.
  • A practical approach with the ability to organise tasks, implement change and follow processes.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools, systems and ways of working.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • A thoughtful, calm and solution‑focused approach to problem solving.
  • Familiarity with SAP (particularly materials management) is helpful; experience with SAP EWM is an advantage but not essential.
  • Understanding of logistics concepts such as MRP, JIT or Kanban is beneficial but not required.
