Sales Executive - IT/HPC/Cloud solutions - SemiC, EDA and/or Electronics Industry - West Coast

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Americas Sr. Sales Director for Enterprise Computing, you will be responsible for selling and promoting Siemens High-Performance Computing products and support services to customers to demonstrate Siemens value add proposition to customers, whilst actively seeking out new business.
The Siemens Enterprise Computing products are the leading software solutions in High-Performance Computing (HPC).In addition to well-known workload management tools such as PBS professional and Accelerator, the Siemens HPC suite provides the latest in cloud bursting, monitoring, and accelerated computing solutions. With different tools to suit different industries and customers that include the largest supercomputing centers, we are looking for a Specialized Account Executive with the drive and enthusiasm to take this business forward in the electronics and semiconductor industries.
As part of the Siemens team, you will collaborate closely with all departments to ensure excellent customer experience with Siemens. Working closely with Technical/Pre-Sales Support, you will be capable of using your positive approach to build strong relationships, winning and closing new business and enhancing Siemens unique position in the Enterprise Computing market. Key customers will be in the EDA, Semiconductor and Electronics industry. Key activities will be to:
- Define a sales strategy that builds sales pipeline, in both long and short term, to ensure achievement of set revenue targets and business objectives
- Scout for new business opportunities through existing and prospect accounts
- Expand the business with existing customer base by defining strategic account plans and by actively listening and reacting to the needs of the customers
- Negotiate and close long-term agreements with enterprise accounts
- Provide high level information about the Enterprise Computing suite of technology and products with the aim of optimizing sales success
- Analyze, interpret, and respond to requests for proposal (which can often be quite complex) driving both the commercial and technical responses (via the technical team) to provide high quality responses
- Initiate and lead customer executive meetings to promote Siemens’ vision and commitment to customer success
- Collaborate with sales colleagues, business development representatives, pre-sales and marketing to ensure team synergy on a regular basis
- Carry out competitive intelligence on your sector
Minimum Requirements/Experience:
- Experience in implementing sales strategies, sales process and methodologies
- 5 years+ experience in selling IT/HPC/Cloud software solutions preferred (Could also be Services or Presales)
- At least 5+ years of experience in a Sales, Presales or Services role, supporting SemiC, Electronics or EDA customers is required.
- At least 3+ years SemiC, Electronics or EDA industry experience is absolutely required.
- Must currently reside somewhere on the West Coast, if not in the general Bay area of CA.
- If outside of the Bay area, travel would be around once a week to the Bay area, as there are regular customer-facing, and internal, meeting opportunities.
- Strong hunter mentality, closing and winning large customers
- Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organization skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Results-oriented attitude with strong strategic and analytical skills
- Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with marketing, pre-sales and business development representatives
- IT and HPC skills and knowledge preferred
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally
- Flexibility in job description

The pay range for this position is 216,200 - 410,900 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
