Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales orders, forecasts, and project milestones.
• Execute production scheduling in SAP PP, ensuring optimal capacity utilization and adherence to delivery timelines.
• Create, release, and monitor production orders and track progress against plan.
• Coordinate closely with manufacturing, procurement, warehouse, and quality teams.
SAP & MRP Management
• Run and analyse MRP in SAP (MD01 / MD02 / MD04) to ensure material availability.
• Validate BOMs, routings, lead times, and production versions in SAP.
• Identify and resolve MRP exceptions such as shortages, delays, and capacity constraints.
• Support continuous improvement of SAP planning master data accuracy.
Inspection Planning & Quality Coordination
• Create and maintain inspection plans in coordination with Quality and Engineering.
• Ensure inspection requirements are embedded in production orders.
• Track inspection readiness, results, and closure of quality checkpoints.
FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) Planning
• Prepare and manage FAT schedules aligned with project and customer requirements.
• Coordinate FAT readiness across production, quality, testing, and documentation teams.
• Ensure timely completion of FAT activities and support customer inspections where required.
Cross Functional Coordination
• Act as a single point of contact between Production, Procurement, Quality, and Project teams.
• Participate in production review meetings and highlight risks related to material, capacity, or schedule.
• Support on time dispatch by aligning production completion with testing, packing, and logistics plans.
Reporting & Control
• Monitor KPIs related to schedule adherence, plan vs actual, material availability, and FAT readiness.
• Prepare regular MIS and management reports.
• Drive corrective actions for delays or deviations from plan.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands on experience in SAP PP / MM (Production Planning & MRP).
• Proven expertise in production scheduling and capacity planning.
• Good understanding of BOMs, routings, inspection plans, and quality processes.
• Experience in FAT planning and execution in manufacturing/project environments.
• Analytical skills to interpret MRP data and resolve planning issues.
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Production preferred) with 4-5 years’ experience.
SAP PP certification – added advantage
