University Relations (UR) is a strategic function within Talent Acquisition (TA) at Siemens Digital Industries Software. Our team’s mission is to attract, select, and retain the best, next generation of talent, and we are seeking a recruitment professional to join our team in India.
This position is within the Talent Acquisition team of Siemens people and organizations, Mainly responsible for campus recruitment in India and even Asia Pacific other countries.
This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented TA professional who is passionate about student talent, and seeking leadership experience, ownership, and business influence within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Workforce Planning & Business Partnership
- Own the annual campus hiring strategy aligned with business workforce plans
- Partner with business leaders, HRBPs, and finance to forecast early talent demand
- Drive structured hiring models (Intern → PPO → FTE, GTE, technical programs)
- Provide market intelligence on campus trends, compensation benchmarking, and competitor positioning
- Gain business alignment on timelines and campus segmentation strategy
University Ecosystem & Employer Branding
- Identify and handle strategic Tier 1 / Tier 2 / niche institute partnerships
- Represent the organization in campus forums, leadership connects, and engagement initiatives
- Design high-impact campus engagement formats (hackathons, tech talks, case competitions)
- Strengthen employer brand positioning across engineering and technology campuses
End-to-End Campus Program Leadership
- Lead large-scale multi-location campus hiring programs
- Establish structured selection frameworks and assessment standards
- Drive governance, compliance, and documentation standards
- Ensure seamless coordination across hiring managers and interview panels
- Coordinate smooth onboarding and intern lifecycle management
Data, Metrics & Performance Governance
- Define and track KPIs
- Present hiring dashboards and insights to leadership
- Use analytics to improve hiring quality and predict future workforce trends
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of experience in campus / early talent hiring in India
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience working with senior business leaders
- Data-driven mindset and analytical capability
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build solid relationships with universities, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent ability to run multiple priorities and events in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR Information Systems (HRIS)
