Then come and join our global team as Software Architect Infrastructure (f/m/d), to take responsibility on architectural responsibilities and shaping the future of Magnetic Resonance technology.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You define and evolve the infrastructure architecture powering advanced MRI systems. Therefore, you transform complex non-functional requirements into scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions
- Together with your team, you design infrastructure concepts that enable reliable operation and monitoring of a global installed base of MRI scanners
- You collaborate with international, agile development teams to bring architecture into real-world implementations
- You ensure robust remote update capability and system security throughout the full product life cycle
- You validate architectural ideas through prototyping and exploratory technical work
- You help to shape agile architecture governance and continuously improve engineering practices
- You will have the opportunity to communicate and advocate architectural decisions to stakeholders and the leadership

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have university degree in computer science or related engineering discipline
- You have many years of work experience in software architecture, with substantial experience in an agile environment
- Ideally, you have completed a certification program in software architecture
- You have very good skills in state-of-the-art technologies, including .NET, C#, Windows IoT, Kubernetes, and containerization
- Experience in Continuous Delivery methodologies complement your technical expertise

- You have an excellent command of English; German is a plus
- You have very good communication and creative problem-solving skills, all backed by a commitment to delivering high-quality results
