The position can be filled in Erlangen (Germany) or London (United Kingdom).
As Head of EMEA, Asset Management & Transaction, you will lead and develop a regional team of professionals responsible for optimizing Siemens Healthineers’ real estate portfolio across the EMEA region. You will oversee the full lifecycle of our owned and leased assets – from acquisition and divestment to ongoing performance management and lease renewals – ensuring that all real estate decisions support our business, sustainability, and financial objectives.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, requiring a strong networker, strategic thinker, trusted partner, and results-oriented leader who can align stakeholders, enable teams, and deliver measurable impact.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will lead, coach, and empower a high-performing team of Asset and Transaction Managers across EMEA with the aim of equipping our business lines with the best real estate options available to them.
- You will drive execution of real estate transactions (acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and portfolio optimization) in line with Siemens Healthineers’ global strategy and governance framework, as well as its sustainability goals.
- You will partner closely with regional business units, functional leads, and management to understand requirements, align real estate strategies, and actively communicate those amongst key stakeholders.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership teams, advisors, as well as external market partners.
- You will oversee active management of the real estate portfolio, ensuring timely renewals, renegotiations, and exit strategies while optimizing space utilization, excellent workspaces, flexibility, and cost efficiency.
- You own active lease management including IFRS16 relevant documentation
- You will oversee regional budget stewardship, ensuring transparent cost management, responsible resource allocation, and alignment with financial targets.
- You will monitor and enhance asset performance, value, and ESG outcomes across owned and leased properties.
- You will represent EMEA in global portfolio reviews, steering decisions with data-driven insights and clear investment cases.
- You will proactively develop, continually improve and promote process excellence, transparency, and digitalization within the Asset Management & Transaction function.
Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold a completed degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related discipline; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- You have significant long-term professional experience in Commercial Real Estate, ideally in Asset Management, Transaction Management, Investment, or Portfolio Management, within a corporate, institutional, or advisory environment.
- You bring excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills; ability to influence and collaborate effectively across regions and functions.
- You have additionally several years of proven leadership experience in managing regional or cross-country teams and complex portfolios.
- You have strong analytical, financial/commercial, and negotiation capabilities.
- You have demonstrated ability to balance strategic insight with hands-on execution, ensuring that transactions deliver long-term value and operational excellence.
- You have demonstrated ability to manage regional budgets and investment cases, ensuring resource allocation supports financial targets and operational priorities.

- You have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You have deep understanding of the asset lifecycle, with demonstrated success in proactive portfolio optimization and strategic lease management.
- You are proactive, a self-starter and driven leader, combining strategic foresight with a hands-on approach and passion for execution.
- You are a collaborative and confident communicator across functions and hierarchies.
- You are resilient in navigating complexity and change with empathy and clarity.
- You act as the regional ambassador for Siemens Healthineers Real Estate, ensuring alignment between business priorities, portfolio strategy, and sustainability commitments.
- You have business-fluent English skills; German and additional European languages are an asset.
