Your Challenge

As Application Engineer – Motion Control, your mission will be to enable customers across Italy to design, validate and commission advanced motion applications, maximizing the value of our portfolio along the full lifecycle—from digital simulation to on‑site commissioning—and acting as a trusted technical partner for both customers and the sales organization.

Your main activities will be:

  • Deliver technical presentations and product trainings to customers and partners (classroom, on‑site, remote).
  • Understand customers’ applications and translate needs into Motion Control specifications, architectures, and parameter sets.
  • Execute parameterization, testing and commissioning at customer sites; perform digital simulation and validation of applications.
  • Collaborate with the sales force to define the best technical solutions on Motion Control and support proposals.
  • Provide After Sales technical support, troubleshooting and lessons‑learned feedback to improve future applications.

In the medium–long term, you will:

  • Approach various branches of Motion Control applications (e.g., Metal‑Forming, Packaging, Handling, Converting).
  • Expand your application expertise toward complex automation systems and digitalization concepts, including software design and development.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

  • Passion for design, development and installation of automatic machines.
  • Experience with Motion Control techniques, PLC, and high‑level languages (ST, C, C# is a plus).
  • Master’s Degree in Automation Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • Availability to travel frequently at national level (and occasionally internationally).
  • Strong goal and customer orientation, initiative and autonomy.
  • A true team player with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Digital and growth mindset.
