Factory Inventory & Audit Controller

Location: Mumbai

Job Purpose

The Factory Inventory & Audit Controller is responsible for ensuring accuracy, control, and compliance of all factory inventory processes. This role oversees raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory, ensures SAP reconciliation accuracy, manages audits, and identifies process improvements to support operational and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and control raw material, work in progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory for the factory.
Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and reconciliation with SAP.
Conduct physical stock audits, cycle counts, and ensure compliance with verification procedures.
Analyze slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory and drive corrective actions.
Monitor cost centers, booking/billing execution, and ensure financial posting accuracy in SAP.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for process and inventory audits.
Identify and address cost overruns, process gaps, or operational inefficiencies.
Lead and manage the order booking/billing team, along with tracking execution and resolution of issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education preferably ICWA/CA, MCOM, MBA Finance 
Minimum 7-8 years of work experience
Strong understanding of inventory management and audit processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP (MM/PP/FI modules preferred).
Knowledge of stock audits, cycle counting, and inventory controls.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with production, operations, and finance teams.
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
