Your Mission in Our Team

As a key player in our Main Line (ML) division, you will act as the technical authority across the complete project life cycle. Reporting to the Head of System Engineering Management ML, you will bridge the gap between customer needs and our cutting-edge technology, ensuring our signaling solutions set the standard for the market.

Challenges That Await

  • Lead the technical definition of signaling systems for Main Line projects in Spain, ensuring every solution meets project-specific needs.
  • Design robust system architectures based on the Siemens Mobility portfolio (ETCS) and define the concept of operation.
  • Analyze project requirements to ensure the completeness and consistency of the technical design.
  • Collaborate with R&D to create User Requirement Specifications (URS) that address technical gaps and drive innovation.
  • Coordinate interfaces between Siemens signaling systems and external subcontractors to ensure seamless integration.
  • Support the bidding and integration teams, ensuring technical excellence from the proposal phase through to final validation.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Solid experience in Rail Signaling (approx. 5 years), specifically acting as a System Manager or in a similar technical leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of Main Line solutions, particularly ETCS and the Siemens Mobility portfolio.
  • Expertise in Requirements Management, traceability, and validation within CENELEC standards and V-Life Cycle models.
  • Strong planning capabilities and a mindset focused on continuous improvement and results.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential to navigate international projects and collaborate with HQ.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to connect with teams and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of other ML solutions (e.g., Conventional, ASFA) or competitor portfolios.
  • Experience in Product and System Development or System Integration.
