You’ll make an impact by
- You lead the design and implementation of comprehensive end-to-end supply chain solutions, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of finished goods across all logistics stages
- Building on this, you analyze current supply chain processes, identify areas for improvement, and drive productivity through automation and digitalization initiatives
- Subsequently, you optimize our transport network by applying holistic strategies that balance quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability, for example through mode-shift activities and milk-run concepts
- Leveraging your expertise in data analytics, you uncover trends and provide actionable insights to enhance logistics performance metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, and transportation costs
- Throughout, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, internal and external partners, as well as regional and business unit logistics teams to ensure alignment of logistics strategies with overall business objectives
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: You hold a Master's degree in business administration, industrial engineering or similar with a focus on Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Experience & Skills:
- Long-term experience in logistics, procurement, or operations, with proven ability to drive supply chain improvements
- Profound expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, particularly in distribution, transport, and warehousing
- Proven project management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals, preferably in the area of logistics design principles, including process mapping and modeling techniques
- Proficient in data analytics (SQL, Snowflake) and visualization tools (PowerBI), as well as knowledge of sustainable supply chain practices
- Ways of working: You demonstrate strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, exceptional communication, and interpersonal abilities, ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Languages: Fluent English skills are mandatory; proficiency in German and additional language skills are highly desirable
