Your Mission

You will join our innovative Rolling Stock team in Madrid as a key player in software development. In this role, you will design, program, and validate the software that powers our traction control systems, directly influencing the performance and safety of our trains.

The Challenges Ahead

  • Shape the architecture: Design and document robust software structures using advanced modeling tools.
  • Drive development: Program control software using graphical development tools and integrate it onto target platforms.
  • Ensure quality: Manage the full testing lifecycle, from component tests to functional validation according to industry standards.
  • Innovate and simulate: Create realistic vehicle simulations to build robust test environments.
  • Collaborate: Work on system interfaces and translate architectural concepts into practical implementations.
  • Define requirements: Document comprehensive requirements for drive control software to ensure clarity and precision.
What Will Make Your Application Stand Out

  • A technical background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in structured software development, particularly within traction control systems.
  • Solid understanding of traction systems, including traction converters and electrical motors.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level) to communicate effectively with our global network.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, enjoying teamwork with colleagues from diverse departments.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support project needs.
You’ll thrive even more if you also bring

Specific experience with the EN 50657 standard.
Previous knowledge of the rolling stock business.
Additional language skills.
