We are looking for a DevOps Engineer – AWS & Kubernetes to join our agile product teams and support the development and operation of cloud-based digital services.


What will you contribute? As a DevOps Engineer, you will work in a cross-functional product team responsible for building and operating services on the Railigent X platform.


Key responsibilities:

  • Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Operating and improving cloud-native applications and microservices.
  • Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code for scalable cloud environments.
  • Supporting development teams with containerization and Kubernetes-based deployments.
  • Ensuring reliable, secure and scalable service operations.
  • Improving observability, monitoring and operational reliability.
  • Supporting implementation of security best practices and automated compliance checks.
  • Collaborating with developers, architects and platform teams to continuously improve services.
  • Driving automation to increase deployment speed, stability and operational efficiency.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience working in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Site Reliability roles.
  • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience deploying applications using AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3 or Elastic Beanstalk.
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD preferred).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems.
  • Understanding of microservice architectures and cloud-native applications.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in international agile teams.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to Have´s:
  • Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana or Dynatrace
  • Knowledge of GitOps practices
  • Programming or scripting experience in Python or similar languages
  • Experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk or similar managed application platforms
  • Experience with monitoring, logging and incident analysis in production environments
