Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated PowerUp Mendix Development Intern to join the Social Acquisition team within the Global Demand Center. This internship provides hands-on experience in low-code application development, working directly on PowerUp — an internal Mendix app built to operationalize social selling workflows for a global sales organization. As a PowerUp Mendix Development Intern, you will support the ongoing development, testing, and enhancement of the app under the guidance of the Social Intelligence & Activation team. You will gain practical experience in low-code development, user-centered design, and the intersection of marketing technology and sales enablement within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the development and enhancement of the PowerUp app using the Mendix low-code platform
    • Assist with building and refining app features, workflows, and user interface components based on team requirements and user feedback
    • Participate in QA and testing cycles, identifying and documenting bugs or usability issues
    • Collaborate with team members to translate functional requirements into app functionality
    • Support documentation efforts related to app features, development decisions, and update logs
    • Assist with the rollout of new features or updates, including testing in staging environments prior to deployment
    • Contribute to ongoing optimization efforts by reviewing app performance and recommending improvements
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders — including marketing and sales enablement teams — to ensure the app meets user needs
    • Develop the ability to operate with increasing independence on clearly defined development tasks over the course of the internship

    Requirements:

      • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
      • Hands-on experience with the Mendix low-code platform (academic, project-based, or certification experience accepted)
      • Familiarity with basic UX/UI principles and an interest in building intuitive user experiences
      • Strong attention to detail, particularly in testing and documentation
      • Solid written and verbal communication skills — ability to translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
      • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
      • Mendix Rapid Developer certification (or in progress) in a plus
      • Familiarity with Agile or project management tools (Wrike, Planner, or similar) is a plus
      • Interest in B2B marketing, sales enablement, or marketing technology is a plus
