At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics. The topics of digitalization and simulations support us in planning for the future and in implementation.

Based in Oradea, we are looking for a: Supplier Management Specialist with German.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Own and manage critical supplier, logistics, and supply chain escalations with significant operational, financial, or customer impact.
• Ensure escalations are handled in a structured, documented, and controlled manner, aligned with Siemens escalation and governance principles.
• Initiate escalation in case of deviations from agreed requirements, targets, or contractual obligations.

• Lead escalations with strategic suppliers, logistics service providers, and external partners.
• Drive and track supplier recovery and corrective action plans, ensuring sustainable performance improvement.

• Drive root cause analysis across end-to-end supply chain interfaces.

• Analyze, evaluate, and further develop complex logistics and SCM processes, concepts, and IT solutions.
• Apply Six Sigma, benchmarking, and risk assessment methods to derive logistics strategies and improvements.

• Provide clear, structured escalation and risk reporting to plant, business, and SCM management.

• Identify systemic escalation drivers (e.g. planning parameters, supplier governance gaps, logistics interfaces).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience in Logistics, SCM, Operations, or Procurement (ideally in manufacturing).
• Proven experience managing critical escalations.
• Strong understanding of supplier management and logistics processes.
• University degree (Engineering, SCM, Business, etc.); Six Sigma is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent English and fluent German (mandatory).
