As a Mechanical Service Senior Sales Executive at Siemens, you'll be more than a salesperson - you'll be a trusted advisor helping customers transform their buildings into high-performing, energy-efficient assets. You'll represent one of the world's most respected technology companies, delivering innovative mechanical service solutions that reduce operating costs, maximize up-time, and create healthier, more sustainable indoor environments.


This is a consultative sales role where your technical expertise and relationship-building skills directly impact customer success and environmental sustainability. You'll have the autonomy to develop your territory strategically while being supported by world-class resources, including digital service platforms that set Siemens apart from the competition. As aMechanical Service Senior Sales Executive, you will:

  • Achieve booking, revenue, and profit targets by developing and managing a strong sales pipeline, maintaining accurate forecasts, and consistently delivering on expected results
  • Develop and execute strategic account and vertical market plans to grow existing relationships and capture new business opportunities across assigned territory, including new markets and adjacent segments
  • Build deep market expertise (customers, competitors, industry trends, and decision influencers) and proactively identify, pursue, and win new opportunities while expanding existing accounts (hunter/farmer approach)
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding business challenges, recommending tailored mechanical service solutions, supporting budgeting and investment decisions, and positioning Siemens’ digital service offerings as a key differentiator
  • Lead the full sales process by collaborating with internal teams (operations, estimating, finance, legal, and sales support) to develop solutions, set pricing based on value, prepare proposals and bid packages, and successfully close business; partner with other Siemens business units to drive new projects and accounts
  • Maintain strong customer engagement through regular interaction (minimum 50% onsite), participation in industry organizations and networking events (e.g., ASHRAE, AEE, USGBC), ongoing training and market learning, and travel (~10%) for business development and professional growth


You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience within the commercial mechanical (HVAC) service industry in technical sales, business development, consulting, or service field/operations
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate:
    • financial expertise - estimating and selling technical service agreements and retrofit projects effectively and independently
    • Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
  • 10 years of commercial mechanical (HVAC) service/sales industry experience or experience installing and servicing mechanical or HVAC equipment
  • Ability to read/understand design and construction documents
  • Knowledge of and strong networking relationships within the local building market such as building owners, maintenance contractors, and mechanical industry subcontractors
  • Experience in the life sciences, healthcare, education, data center, commercial office, and government facility vertical markets
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM

The pay range for this position is $73,756 - $126,439 annually plus an uncapped commission structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
