Position Overview

Teamcenter Applications & Industry Solutions (APPS), with over 30 different applications and targeted industry solutions, is an exciting and rapidly growing Business Line of Teamcenter, the leading PLM solution in the market.  We are part of Siemens Digital Industries - Software – PLM - Lifecycle Collaboration Software segment.  As Teamcenter APPS continues to grow and expand our customer base and venture into new industries we are looking to expand the team.

We are looking for a well-qualified and energetic candidate to join the Teamcenter APPS product management team, be a strong contributor and a team player, drive some of the existing as well as new solutions being built and be part of the exciting journey ahead.

Responsibilities:
  • Defines the strategy and direction for applications such as Teamcenter Supplier Collaboration, Teamcenter for Process Industry (CPG and Pharma) throughout all stages of the product life cycle (concept through end-of-life).
  • Gathers customer feedback, performs market trend analysis, does competitive research, and develops and adjusts the product strategy accordingly.
  • Works closely with onshore (US) and offshore (India) development teams and provide business use cases and requirements in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
  • Collaborates with large number of stakeholders across the organization in various time zones in an effective manner
  • Defines the pricing, packaging, etc. of individual products and solutions.
  • Works with product marketing, portfolio development team, global sales and services, industry team, SaaS governance / operations on the product launch and go to market strategy to ensure that the product is successful in the marketplace.
  • Works with development, sales, industry, and product marketing to manage the product through its life cycle to ensure it meets established goals for revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Promotes the product through webinars, conferences, customer meetings, blog posts etc.
  • Handles negotiations and contract discussions with vendors, customers and third parties
  • Makes critical decisions regarding product lifecycle (e.g., phase-out). 
  • Represents company plans and product strategies to industry analysts.
  • Maintains a 360 view of the product in all aspects and drives the product strategy

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or other related discipline
  • Preference for candidates with an additional MBA degree
  • Minimum 10 years of prior experience with Teamcenter (as an end user, implementation service member, or developer etc.)
  • Minimum 15 years of prior work experience
  • Preference for candidates with process industry experience (in Consumer Package Goods and / or Pharma)
  • Strong experience in driving software requirements
  • Strong presentation, communication and listening skills
  • Flexible to work with colleagues and customers spread across the globe
  • Based in Eastern or Central US time zone – with preference for candidates located in Greater Cincinnati, OH or Greater Detroit, MI areas – where some of the existing team members are located
  • Willingness to travel (less than 5% of time)

The pay range for this position is 129,600 - 233,300 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
