Lead the Finance function for GIS Operations at the Verna, Goa manufacturing facility. As a key member of the business unit leadership team, the role is responsible for driving strong financial governance, operational performance, and strategic decision support for the factory.

Organization & Reporting
•Head a combined Factory Finance and Strategic Procurement organization comprising 3–4 teams with an overall team strength of approximately 14–16 professionals.
•Operate within a matrix organization, with dual reporting to:
oSubsegment Finance Head (Headquarters)
oBusiness Unit Finance Head – India

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Performance Management
•Act as a trusted finance partner to the Factory Head, providing actionable insights on cost transparency, P&L performance, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
•Support business decision-making through high-quality management information and financial analysis.
Planning, Budgeting & Reporting
•Lead end-to-end financial planning activities, including annual budgeting (factory target agreements), rolling forecasts, and performance reviews.

•Monitor financial results against budget and forecasts, proactively highlighting risks and improvement opportunities.
Capex & Investment Governance
Drive development of business cases for capital investments.
•Ensure disciplined tracking, monitoring, and timely reporting of Capex projects, from approval through execution.
Financial Control, Compliance & Governance
•Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial books and records in accordance with Siemens financial reporting guidelines (IFRS) and internal control requirements.
•Act as a role model for compliance, ensuring strict adherence to Siemens compliance policies and business conduct standards.
Costing, Productivity & Competitiveness
•Ensure robustness and reliability of product costing and configuration tools to enable accurate cost calculation and improved cost competitiveness.
•Drive productivity and cost-improvement initiatives across factories, translating actions into measurable financial impact.
SAP & Systems Leadership
•Provide hands-on leadership for SAP-related finance activities, including maintenance of activity types, hourly rates, product cost sheets, and sales and production order controlling.
•Apply strong functional knowledge across SAP FI, CO, PA, SD, and MM modules.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
•Own factory-level cash flow management with a strong focus on working capital optimization, including inventory, payables, and capital expenditure control.
People Leadership & Culture
•Build, motivate, and develop high-performing Finance and Procurement teams.
•Foster a strong performance-driven culture with focus on accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Work Location
•Role requires full-time, on-site presence at the Verna manufacturing plant, Goa.
Qualifications & Experience
•CA / ICWA / Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputed institute (preferred).
•Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements.
•Familiarity with Siemens reporting systems and environment (preferred).
•10–12 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in people management roles.
•Prior experience as a Factory Controller or Finance Head in a medium to large manufacturing organization; exposure to engineered products is an advantage.
•Proven experience working in multinational, matrix organizations.
•Deep expertise in product costing, ERP systems (SAP), and finance process governance.
•Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to manage complexity, multiple priorities, and diverse stakeholder expectations.
•Self-driven, collaborative, and effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
•International Experience preferred.
