Senior Project Manager – Operational, Automation & Digitalization-Manufacturing & Supply Chain Transformation

We’re looking for a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join our Siemens Advanta North America OA&D consulting practice. This role is built for a delivery leader who can run large, operations-heavy programs, earn trust on the plant floor and in the boardroom, and help grow the business through client relationships and commercial ownership (travel required; based in Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX or New York City, NY preferred).

You will make an impact by:

You will lead multi-site operational assessments and transformations across Manufacturing and Supply Chain, turning diagnostics into execution that improves OEE, throughput, quality, cost, and service.

Client Delivery / Program Leadership

  • Lead large multi-manufacturing-site assessments (plant/network) and build transformation roadmaps with quantified benefits and sequencing.
  • Run program governance/PMO: integrated master plan, workstream plans, RAID, dependency management, change control, exec steering cadence, and decision logs.
  • Drive OEE improvement programs (availability, performance, quality): loss tree, bottleneck analysis, standard work, tiered meetings, daily management, sustainment.
  • Lead operational workstreams tied to shop-floor performance: line balancing, changeover/SMED, flow, visual management, problem solving routines, training & adoption.
  • Manage delivery of technology/automation enablement in operations: requirements, value cases, deployment plans for MES/SCADA/IIoT, performance dashboards, digital work instructions, data capture, and roadmap execution (partnering with technical SMEs).
  • Own benefits tracking and impact realization, ensuring improvements show up in KPIs and financials—not just recommendations.

Supply Chain / Procurement Transformation

  • Lead procurement uplift initiatives (sourcing effectiveness, category strategy execution, compliance, supplier performance, savings governance).
  • Drive S&OP / IBP strategy and operating model: cadence, decision rights, planning roles, KPI system, demand/supply reconciliation, and executive forum design.
  • Improve execution processes such as MRB / inventory disposition and cross-functional workflows impacting service and cash.

Commercial Ownership / Practice Building

  • Build and expand relationships with client executives and site leadership; identify follow-on opportunities and help shape the pipeline.
  • Contribute to proposal development and SOW creation (scope, staffing model, timeline, deliverables, assumptions, commercial story).
  • Develop internal delivery playbooks (multi-site assessment toolkit, OEE/ops excellence templates, PMO standards) and coach teams to scale capability.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years in management consulting and/or operations transformation delivery with direct exposure to manufacturing environments.
  • 5+ years of experience with communicating complex ideas clearly and effectively to C-level executives (written and spoken) in English
  • 5+ years of experience in a high-performance manufacturing or supply chain environments, specifically demonstrating leadership skills in performance management & change management.
  • 5+ years of experience with managing complex, cross-functional programs (scope/schedule/budget/risks) with executive-facing communications.
  • 5+ years of experience leading manufacturing performance initiatives (e.g. Toyota Production Systems, kaizen methods, TPM, JIT, SMED, and/or quality and compliance).
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to ~80% (varies by project).
  •  Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (business, analytics, engineering/CS, finance, operations).
  • Professional and/or academic experience in Siemens key markets such as the Americas, and Europe.
  • Experience delivering manufacturing tech/automation programs (MES, IIoT, analytics, digital work instructions) with clear value realization.
  • Strong commercial orientation (account growth, relationship-led selling, proposal leadership, executive workshops).
  • PMP/PRINCE2/SAFe; Lean Six Sigma (GB/BB) a plus
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.

  • The pay range for this position is $180,000-$200,000 and the annual incentive target is 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

The pay range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
