POSITION OVERVIEW

Lead product care and lifecycle management for large power inverters across German and Chinese manufacturing sites. Drive cross-site coordination, ensuring quality excellence and market competitiveness while serving as the central interface within international team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Care & Lifecycle Management

  • Own large power inverter portfolio across German and Chinese production sites
  • Coordinate product specifications, quality standards, and technical documentation
  • Manage product improvements, running changes, and obsolescence management
  • Drive cost optimization while maintaining quality parity

Cross-Site Coordination (Germany ↔ China)

  • Establish seamless communication between German and Chinese engineering/production teams
  • Coordinate technology transfer and manufacturing process alignment
  • Manage cross-cultural collaboration
  • Align product roadmaps and capacity planning across locations

Project Management

  • Execute projects following Siemens PLM standards with milestone tracking
  • Manage complete product lifecycle
  • Support customer requests and quality issue resolution


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Power Electronics/Electrical Engineering (Master preferred)
  • 5+ years in project management
  • Experience coordinating between international production sites
  • Product care or lifecycle management background

Technical Skills

  • Deep knowledge of power inverter technologies
  • Understanding manufacturing processes
  • Expertise in PLM, Lean/Agile, cost and quality management systems
  • Familiarity with international standards (IEC, UL, CE) and Chinese certifications
  • Organize regular project meetings (project reports / project status / milestone review, etc.)
  • Contributes to cooperation across all relevant functions which includes appropriate transfer to the subsequent parties responsible in the relevant processes (e.g. SCM, CRM).

Language Requirements

  • Fluent English (mandatory)
  • Fluent Mandarin Chinese (mandatory)
  • German strongly preferred (significant advantage)
