About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Application Engineering who will be responsible for the technical selling and support of Siemens EDA's leading-edge Design and Verification portfolio. As a Verification AE, you will identify and qualify engagements based on customers' needs and business opportunities, define Simulation or VIP evaluations and benchmark criteria, execute relevant technical campaigns to meet established goals considering customers' production flows, provide best-in-class support, and work with account managers to determine the sales execution strategy. You will ensure both the customers' success and the broader use of Siemens EDA's solutions. Our application engineering team is a creative, dynamic, and highly productive small team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

·       The primary purpose is to work with sales and field technical team members to help lead, define, and implement the technical engagements that support sales campaigns.

·       Provide technical leadership on all aspects of sales campaigns. Contribute and execute pre-sales and post-sales account strategies as a member of the sales team.

·       Qualify the technical viability of sales opportunities and communicate them to the sales team.

·       Deliver Siemens EDA Design and Verification portfolio presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and effectively communicate the value proposition of Siemens EDA solutions to them

·       Bring up Simulation and Integrate VIP in customer testbench or guide them to do so themselves.

·       Proactively share account, evaluation, competitor, technology, and other helpful information with peers, sales teams, management, and product divisions to help us compete more effectively.

·       Develop and maintain ongoing positive relationships with customers.

·       Ensure customers receive timely, effective support

·       Influence marketing and product groups to meet customers’ needs and shape product direction.

·       Work collaboratively with team members to ensure mutual success.

Job Qualifications:

·       The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

·       BE in Electronics or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years of work experience in semiconductor or EDA OR Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of work experience in semiconductor or EDA

·       You’ve solid understanding on VHDL/Verilog, SystemVerilog and UVM.

·       Well versed with Simulation/Verification using directed tests, constraint random testing, assertions and coverage driven verification methods.

·       Strong working knowledge in EDA tools like Mentor Graphics’ ModelSim, Questa, VCS, NC-Sim, IUS, Visualizer, Verdi tools.

·       In depth knowledge of RTL & Gate Level (GLS) verification and debug.

·       Having experience in Low power verification techniques using UPF would be a plus.

·       Protocol Knowledge and verification of one or more of AMBA, Ethernet, HDMI, USB, PCIe, DDRx, MIPI etc. would be a plus.

·       Excellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills

·       Strong project management skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
