We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - SAP BW/4HANA (Integrated Planning + ABAP) Consultant

We're seeking a skilled SAP BW/4HANA Integrated Planning Consultant with strong ABAP expertise to join our dynamic team and enable data-driven financial planning within Siemens Mobility’s global commercial project planning application.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and optimization of BW/4HANA-based data warehousing and planning solutions, deliver reliable financial KPIs, and ensure high data quality across reporting and planning applications. You will enhance system performance and provide business stakeholders with accurate, actionable insights to support effective project planning and control.

You’ll make a difference by:

• Design and optimize data models, planning applications to deliver scalable data and planning solutions that enable accurate financial forecasting and project performance tracking.
• You have full responsibility for design and development of individual Business Intelligence applications/reports based on BW4HANA
• We count on your expertise while creating and maintaining complex data models and interfaces in challenging projects.
• You understand the requirements from our worldwide business stakeholders and create innovative solutions upon central SAP modules such as FI, CO, PS
• In-depth knowledge of Integrated Planning, ABAP and BW/4 HANA backend platform and new technologies
• Design, code, test, debug, document and support all types of data flows, views, web services and transformation procedures consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver maximum business value
• You provide operative support of the application by handling incidents and monitoring data loading processes

You’ll win us over by:

• 6-10 years of work experience in areas like SAP Integrated Planning, SAP BW4HANA, ABAP, reporting tools like SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Analysis for Office.
• Interact with business stakeholders in requirement gathering, understanding business logic and creating end-to-end data models by building reports using reporting tools to help business making decisions swiftly.
• Strong experience in developing and supporting end to end SAP BW4HANA planning data models.
• Develop and enhance planning models, queries, and functions.
• Create input-ready queries, aggregations, and planning sequences.
• Work with Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs), Composite Providers, and Info Objects.
• Develop and enhance ABAP programs, BADIs, and user exits.
• Build custom logic for planning functions using FOX (Formula Extension) and ABAP.
• Debug and optimize existing ABAP code in BW environment.
• Experience in Enhancing existing reports or build new reports using technologies like SAP Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Open to explore and work on new technologies.
