Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the Mobility Services (MS) team and partner closely with the MS Lead in managing a fast-growing portfolio across Travel, Events, Gifting, and Fleet. The portfolio has expanded significantly over recent years, with further scope additions in the pipeline.

The role is responsible for driving category and supplier strategies, executing sourcing activities, managing supplier performance, and ensuring strong compliance and governance across the assigned categories. The Specialist will work in close collaboration with senior procurement leaders, business stakeholders, and global shared services.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of category and supplier strategies for Travel, Events, Gifting, and Fleet in collaboration with senior procurement leaders and key stakeholders.

• Drive year-on-year cost improvement initiatives within the assigned scope while ensuring service quality and compliance.

• Manage day-to-day supplier interactions and build effective, professional relationships with travel management companies, event management agencies, gifting vendors, and fleet service partners.

• Conduct supplier market research and gather market intelligence related to travel services, event management, corporate gifting solutions, vehicle rental, and fleet management services.

• Support compliance with Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, procurement policies, and governance standards across the assigned categories.

• Execute supplier selection activities including RFP/RFQ processes, e-auctions, supplier evaluations, negotiation support, contract finalization, frame agreement renewals, and onboarding of new vendors.

• Monitor supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities related to service levels, cost efficiency, turnaround times, vehicle availability, and compliance.

• Maintain and regularly update approved supplier lists in line with category strategies for Travel, Events, Gifting, and Fleet.

• Coordinate with Global Business Services (GBS) on goods receipt, payment operations, vendor query resolution, and supplier-name reconciliation across the assigned spend categories.

• Prepare periodic MIS dashboards and category reporting covering spend, supplier performance, savings, and KPIs.

• Support digitization and process automation initiatives within the assigned categories — including adoption of digital sourcing tools, supplier portals, and analytics dashboards — to improve efficiency, data quality, and decision-making.

• Support sustainability initiatives across the categories, including Scope 3 measurement on Travel, Green Hotels programs, and EV transition for Fleet.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Admin, HR, Marketing, Facilities, Finance, and Business Teams) to enable cost-effective and timely delivery of category requirements.

• Identify internal and external procurement best practices and support their implementation across the assigned categories.

What you bring:

5–7 years of experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing, preferably across Travel, Events, Gifting, Fleet, or other indirect spend categories.

• Exposure to category management and procurement strategy execution in a structured corporate environment.

• Ability to manage multiple vendors and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Proactive, execution-focused mindset with the ability to work independently on assigned initiatives.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience executing procurement activities such as RFPs, commercial comparisons, supplier negotiations, and basic contract management.

• Ability to support change initiatives, standardization efforts, and continuous improvement within the procurement function.

• Foundational understanding of supply markets, including travel management companies, hotel chains, event management agencies, promotional merchandise and gifting vendors, vehicle rental companies, and fleet service providers.

• Familiarity with corporate travel programs, event planning workflows, employee gifting initiatives, and fleet operations (vehicle leasing/rental, spot rentals, or managed fleet services) is preferred.

• Experience working with procurement, sourcing, or expense/travel management systems such as SAP, Concur, or equivalent ERP platforms is an advantage.

• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting, and PowerPoint for presentations.
