Part Time Working Student (Software Development Engineer)

What are my responsibilities?
• Software development activities in the industrial domain, including design, implementation, testing and documentation.
• Contribution to solutions architectures, requirements elicitation and development processes improvement.
• Producing high quality project deliverables within planned time and effort.
• Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• Expected graduation date is Summer 2027, in Computer Engineering or related area.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and C# are a plus
• Strong knowledge in object oriented programming, analysis, and design is a plus
• Development experience in Linux environment is a plus
• Knowledge and experience in Scrum, Agile processes is a plus
• Experience in scripting languages; Python, Bash is a plus
• Very good command of English
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Eager to learn Industrial Automation domain know-how and Siemens-specific technologies.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI, Github Copilot is a plus
• Minimum 2,5 days/week availability is expected (partly remote working).
