As Quality Manager at ZSB Yangzhong, you serve as the strategic quality partner to the General Manager, ensuring Siemens Electrification and Automation (SI EA) quality standards are implemented and maintained for Low Voltage Busbar (LV BB) and Low Voltage Switchboard (LVSB) production. You lead the quality organization including all quality functions, local Global Competence Center (GCC), and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) responsibilities.

You'll make an impact by

·     Strategic Quality Leadership: Implement and ensure compliance with global SI EA quality management systems at ZSB Yangzhou; lead quality organization including all quality functions, Global Competence Center (GCC), and EHS responsibilities.

·     Quality Management System & Certifications: Govern the Integrated Management System, execute audit programs (ISO 9001), and ensure all certifications and compliance with internal and external regulations.

·     Non-Conformance & Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause analysis (8D, FMEA, 5Why, Ishikawa, VSM), manage NCC/NC processes, drive preventive measures, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

·     Digital Quality & Reporting: Drive development of digital quality solutions, implement real-time KPI transparency and early warning systems, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

·     Safety & Product Safety: Champion Zero Harm culture, exercise authority to stop unsafe work, advise ZSB management on product safety cases, and ensure alignment with all safety regulations.

·     Customer & Supplier Quality: Contribute to customer satisfaction (NPS/CXI), communicate quality issues with customers in China and export markets, and monitor third-party supplier quality standards.

·       Team Leadership and Development: Motivating the quality team and ensuring competency development; executing with P&O the competence management and training system for quality-related competences; supporting agile/lean transition and coaching team members; and promoting a quality-oriented mindset through role models and best practices.

·       Financial and Resource Management: Planning and proposing the quality budget and deciding the allocation of financial and personnel resources within given limits.

·       KPI and Performance Management: Participating in monthly KPI follow-up meetings with the global quality community and ensuring KPI alignment with HQ Subfunctions from LV and BB, while implementing necessary local KPIs.

Your defining qualities

·     University degree in Technical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.

·     Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within European operations in Greater China, or equivalent senior quality management role.

·     Minimum 2 years of proven leadership experience managing cross-functional quality teams.

·     Certified auditor for ISO 9001 quality management systems; QMiP or PM@Siemens certification preferred.

·     Deep technical knowledge of Low Voltage Switchboards (LVSB) or Low Voltage Busbar systems, and strong experience in manufacturing quality management and supplier quality assurance.

·     Expert knowledge of core quality tools and methodologies: FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, 5Why, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and statistical process control.

·     Professional-level English language skills (written and spoken) — mandatory; Chinese language proficiency is a strong advantage.

·     Strong international experience and cross-cultural collaboration abilities; experience in joint venture or international manufacturing environments preferred.
